If you're interested in the art of visual storytelling; whether reading, writing, or drawing, you've found the right club!Feel free to come and chill with us in one of our laid back weekly meetings, announced on our socials, and here on the meetings page of the website.If you are a student at the University of Glasgow, to sign up and become a member of our funny little club, look us up on the SRC societies page and pop Comic Creators Club in your basket - it's totally free!!!If you're a non-student, feel free to come along and see if our club is a good fit for you. A Comic Creator Club meeting is usually quite a chilled space as most of the time is spent chatting about, brainstorming ideas for, and drawing - of course - comics!We try our best to make our society as pressure free as possible. You can create whatever you want, however you want, and talk as much about whatever you like too!Your work can be as silly or as serious as you want it :3cWriters can collaborate with artists, or you can work on your own, the world is your oyster in the universe of comic creation!!And, if you're happy enough with your works (and give us permission!!) we might just post them up on our social media accounts!We usually meet once a week in whichever room the university decides to give us on any given day. We are at the whims of UofG... The location of each meeting will be shown in the table at the top of this page and on meeting announcement posts.Our meetings are announced each week on our social media platforms.Feel free to come along as often (or not) as you want to!(Pencils, pens and paper are all provided by our committee!!)

Timmy-Tober!
October 2025
Another year another Timmy-Tober is upon us!!
Timmy-Tober is a month long event where each day you are given a prompt, and you can follow the prompt in any way you'd like! Create a comic or script, an individual piece, or even a simple doodle will do!

Redraw your favourite blocky scenes as we walk you through comic-ifying Minecraft screenshots, from your Minecraft skin to your cube-ular builds!MANGA AND ANIME SOCIETY COLLAB

Come along to our workshop on different manga techniques, then put what you've learned into practice by picking a non-anime or comic panel and transform it into a manga style of your choice!
Comic Anthology

Taking inspiration from the club in the past, this year our Comic Club has been working toward creating an anthology comic book made up of a compiled collection of short comics created by our members!The Theme
Time is a Circle
Each comic will focus on a different period in time - past, present, or future - with a single item as a common theme passed through each, until finally it returns to it's original resting place, where the cycle will begin anew...Current Comic Creation Stage:

You can purchase a copy of our fully completed and printed anthology comic Right Now! Come to one of our next meetings (or, perchance, a stall on the UofG campus...?) and talk to one of our committee members!
